Owner Paul Cochrane has over 25 years of yacht rigging experience. He teams his wealth of experience and rigging expertise with leading industry products to provide a reliable, high quality service to clients with an emphasis on helping clients to maintain the efficiency and safety of their rigs.

Paul offers a comprehensive rigging service using the latest machinery, including a Wire Teknik roll swaging machine from 4mm – 16mm wire and a Talurit press from 1.5-8mm wire and offers a wide range of ropes which are available from his fully stocked rigging loft.

Paul has recently replaced our standing rigging and also a spinnaker halyard, proving XW rigging can handle large and small jobs quickly and reliably. Very organised and easy to do business with, giving useful advice along the way…thank you!

I have owned my Westerly Ocean 33 from new and she is now 13 years old, so I decided to have the rigging replaced. I commisioned Paul at XW to do the job after taking 3 quotes from other riggers on the S. Coast. Not only did XW rigging come in at the best price they advised on materials to use quoting the price difference. I am absolutly delighted with the results, the boat sails like a dream and the job was completed on time and was spot on the quoted price. The whole service was fantastic and I would recommend XW to anyone.
